Terms and Conditions of Sale

1.  Sales of River Island Gift Vouchers made via links from www.River Island.co.uk are managed by Voucherline Ltd, Magnum House, High Street, Lane End, High Wycombe, Bucks, HP14 3JG, UK - established 2003 and registered in England 484179. VAT Reg No: 842 8585 93.
2.  River Island Gift Vouchers supplied by this website are in £ sterling which can be redeemed in all stores in the UK (excluding Selfridges and Jersey), Republic of Ireland, Belgium and Holland.  River Island Gift Vouchers are not redeemable online.
3.  River Island Gift Vouchers can be used as full or part payment on goods and services in store. Purchases made in store with Gift Vouchers are not refundable in cash.
4.  Gift Vouchers should be treated like cash. They cannot be replaced if lost or stolen.
5.  Gift Vouchers ordered through the Voucherline hosted River Island site will be sent to the delivery address stated on each individual order. Deliveries will be made using Royal Mail services and DX Courier Services. All orders will be sent by either Recorded Delivery or Special Delivery and will require a signature on arrival.  Special Delivery is insured postage.
6.  Gift Vouchers will normally be despatched within three working days unless a specified later delivery date is requested. Where possible we will try to meet all delivery requirements but Voucherline shall not be liable for any loss incurred either directly or indirectly by failure to meet the delivery date and time indicated at the time of order being placed. ‘Loss’ in this instance includes loss of profit, costs, damages, charges or other expenses.
7.  Risk will pass to the customer upon delivery and title will pass upon receipt of payments in full. Voucherline has no liability for lost, stolen or damaged Gift Vouchers once responsibility of ownership has passed to the customer at time of delivery.
8.  Voucherline is not directly linked to River Island or any River Island company and can take no responsibility for products and services offered by River Island and River Island companies.
9.  Gift Voucher quantities should be checked immediately upon receipt. Any discrepancies must be notified immediately. Voucherline cannot be held responsible for shortage or loss of any Gift Vouchers not notified to us within three days of delivery. Voucherline have a double checking procedure for all gift voucher orders.
10.  Cleared payment is required prior to the despatch of orders. Payment is taken at the time of purchase. Your credit/debit card statement will read "Voucherline".
11.  We reserve the right to decline any order without providing explanation.
12.  Gift Vouchers cannot be exchanged for cash. Vouchers which are defaced, altered or cancelled will not be accepted in River Island stores.
13.  In supplying River Island Gift Vouchers, Voucherline represent the interests of River Island and River Island companies. In no circumstances should the trading name, image, logo, trademark or other brand identity of River Island be used in conjunction with the use of these Vouchers.
14.  Force Majeure ; Voucherline cannot be held responsible for failure to meet its service obligations when any failure is brought about due to some cause totally beyond its reasonable control. Examples of this might include: acts of God, trade disputes; governmental intervention, fire, flood, and disruption to computer and IT infrastructure.
15.  Breach of these conditions will entitle Voucherline to seek the appropriate legal remedy available for injunction, damages or otherwise.
